I am switching my photography blog from my old website. I have not updated my site in about six months, and promise from this photo shoot forward to be much better. I have moved from my beautiful North Shore, Oahu to the EAST COAST. Can you say DIFFERENT? I am trying to adjust to my new life here. I am trying not to think too much about all of my awesome friends I left behind, or the beautiful beach that was next to my house. For the last five months, we have been living in different parts of Virginia. It has been fun getting to know a new area of the US, and in about three weeks we are moving to Corpus Christi, Texas. We are headed back to school (again.) So in short, yes, we are living sort a of a nomadic lifestyle.
Last month, I attended and photographed my littlest sister's wedding. I am not going to lie, I was pretty nervous. It was my first wedding I have shot. I wanted the pictures to turn out awesome for my sister. I hope she liked them. Here are a couple of my favorites from the day.
These two are such a cute couple together. They just look like they fit.
My sister told me the reason they were laughing is because my one-year-old was screaming at me hysterically in the background.
She had the prettiest bouquet.
This is one my favorite shots.
My sister had her reception in my parent's backyard. It turned out AMAZING! My mom and her had been planning and preparing for months and it turned out divine. Her colors were black and white and Tiffany blue.
By the way, the desserts were out of this world. Which was unfortunate for my waistline. Somehow my other sister and I ended up with 1/2 of the leftovers.
This is my cute dad. He spent so much time/energy and talent getting the backyard looking gorgeous. He is a flower salesman, and is very picky about his yard. All of his effort paid off, the backyard looked like it could have been in a floral magazine.
Here we all are. (Minus my husband, of course.)
My mom and sister. Aren't they so pretty?
My sister and her BFF'S.
My little sister and her new sister-in-laws.
Chelsea and my cousin Logan. These two were inseparable growing up.
Kody and his best man/brother. They are hilarious together.
They had an epic cake fight. I think there was actual blood involved.
The bouquet throw was great.
The garter throwing was SO FUNNY. My cousin's ten year old son caught it. I don't think he knew exactly what it was. I heard later that gave it to his little sister to wear as a headband.
They looked so happy and perfect for each other.
